Caregiver Worker

A Caregiver is a paid employee who looks after a person to provide them with basic care and assistance. They can work in a variety of healthcare settings or in a patient’s home. As a Child Care Worker, will be responsible to ensure the home and the children receive the proper care and attention and follow the plan set forth for the home to foster the holistic development of all children in the highest possible regard.

Job Profile:

  1. Learn the case plan for the primary caregiver(s) and, more specifically, the children.
  2. Provide children with age-appropriate activities and programs.
  3. Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children; ensures food handling and storage follows appropriate safety guidelines.
  4. Monitor behavioral issues and respond appropriately ensuring that children are safe.
  5. Attend staff meetings and participates in safety-related initiatives.
  6. Adhere to all internal policies and procedures.
  7. Ensure the House Leader is kept apprised of all issues related to the childrens well-being and Safety.
  8. Complete ad hoc or regular reports (e.g. incident reports, daily log books).
  9. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of child/family information.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 years of relevant childcare experience in addition to education
  • No Criminal Record
  • Must have Valid Drivers License
  • Must be experienced working with kids.
